The Company strictly complies with all relevant laws and regulations concerning personal information provided by customers, and is committed to lawful and appropriate handling of personal information based on the following policy.
Acquisition of Personal Information
The Company acquires personal information using appropriate and fair means, and only to the degree necessary to conduct business operations.
Usage of Personal Information
The Company uses personal information for only the purposes stated upon personal information acquisition, the purposes listed below, and usage purposes which are clearly evident based on circumstances surrounding acquisition. Except when consent has been obtained from the information provider or when stipulated by law or regulation, information will not be used for any other purpose:
① Fulfillment of contracts related to real estate transactions including purchase/sale, brokerage, and rental property management
② Post-contract management and after-sales service
③ Marketing activities (including direct mail, telephone marketing, email marketing, etc.)
④ Performance of contracts and provision of related services for construction contracting, real estate development, etc.
⑤ Fulfillment of obligations related to residential defect warranty insurance contracts
⑥ Solicitation, contract execution, and policy management in property and casualty insurance agency business
⑦ Market research activities including customer analysis and product development
⑧ Improving telephone service quality, preventing disputes, and handling customer inquiries and complaints
⑨ Conducting audits related to financial accounting
⑩ Evaluation and assessment of new graduate and mid-career job applicants
⑪ Human resources management of employees and archiving of employment-related information for former employees

Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
The Company does not provide personal information or related data to any third party without obtaining prior consent from the personal information provider, except when one or more of the following conditions apply (excluding outsourcing partners and joint usage partners):
(1) When required by law or regulation
(2) When necessary to protect human life, physical safety, or property, and obtaining consent is difficult
(3) When particularly necessary to promote public health or support the healthy development of children, and obtaining consent is difficult
(4) When cooperation with national agencies, local governments, or their commissioned entities is required for execution of legally stipulated duties, and obtaining consent may hinder execution of such duties
(5) When outsourcing all or part of personal information handling operations to a third party within the scope necessary to achieve the specified usage purpose
Joint Usage of Personal Information
The Company may engage in joint usage of personal information provided by users as described below:

MAXIV ALIVE Co., Ltd. and other companies within its corporate group only

Providing services including real estate sales, property management, and rental management
Conducting customer satisfaction surveys and other customer research activities
Sending direct mail and other product/service information
Transferring and relaying information when handling customer inquiries and business applications
Other business activities necessary for proper fulfillment of transaction contracts

Safe Personal Information Management Framework
The Company employs all necessary and suitable safe management measures needed to maintain accuracy for acquired personal information, carry out suitable and strict management, and prevent unauthorized access, loss, alteration, leakage, and other risks.
Outsourcing of Personal Information Handling
The Company may outsource handling of personal information to an outside party for purposes of facilitating smoother operations and/or providing better services to customers. In such cases, the Company enters into contracts with the outsourcing partner regarding personal information handling, and implements necessary and appropriate supervisory measures concerning improvement of personal information management systems, prohibition of re-outsourcing, prevention of information leakage, and other relevant matters.
Requests to Disclose, Change or Cease Usage of Personal Information
In response to any request by the personal information provider in person or a proxy acting on their behalf, through a predetermined means or channel, for disclosure, change, or cessation of use regarding retained personal data held by the Company and its affiliated companies (including notification of usage purpose, disclosure, correction/addition/deletion of content, cessation or erasure of use, cessation of provision to third parties, etc.), the Company will, after verifying the identity of the person or the authority of the proxy, handle such requests within a reasonable time and scope in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal company policies.
